Big Idea equips youth in marginalized communities to imagine and create their best lives and world. The cloak-and-dagger sauce that makes our work uniquely effective is the powerful combination of our social and emotional focus, experiential learning, customs-centered partnerships, equity lens and time to come focus.
Throughout our thirty+ year history of innovation, Big Thought has become a national model in arts education, out of school time systems, summertime learning and juvenile justice intervention. Now nosotros're 1 of six community partnerships in the U.Southward. helping calibration national all-time practices in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).

HOW We Exercise Information technology
Big Thought designs, curates, and delivers HIGH IMPACT PROGRAMS that are built upon hands-on experiential learning. Considering we understand the challenges youth in marginalized communities face, we embrace trauma-informed methodology.
Big Thought has three main ways nosotros work:

We obsess over design, ensuring that our piece of work is enquiry based, our staff is well trained, and that we are evaluating and enhancing our work twelvemonth after twelvemonth.
